Who uses cocaine in Australia?
By looking at a series of graphs created in 2013 we can get an understanding of who is using cocaine in Australia.
The graph below shows that 8.1% of the Australian population over the age of 14 have used cocaine at least once and that 2.1% have used it in the last year.

The graph below shows that of those who use cocaine monthly, 11.7% are women. Women use cocaine slightly more than men. We can also see that cocaine use is lower than use of methamphetamines, ecstasy and cannabis among regular drug users.
In the graph below the red bars represent cocaine. This data shows that those who use cocaine regularly are more likely to be part of Australia's wealthier classes.
In the graph below the red bar show cocaine users with post school qualifications and the yellow bar shows those cocaine users that do not have post school qualifications. As you can see, those who use cocaine frequently are more likely to be highly educated, with regular users being almost 3 times more likely to have post school qualifications.
